A non-profit is seeking a Spanish Regional Program Coordinator that will assist with a range of activities to strengthen the role and work with affiliates including technical assistance, affiliate capacity building, program development, community engagement and events, advocacy, and evaluation efforts to engage in a meaningful way with local affiliates. They will be an important member of a dynamic team, collaborating with program, community engagement, and administrative staff.
Responsibilities:
- Activities include regional gap surveys, affiliate communication, technical assistance, engaging diverse communities, youth programs/outreach, workforce development, and criminal justice.
- Developing and implementing regional events; Multicultural Symposiums, townhalls, Youth symposiums, and supporting affiliate leadership conference, etc..
- Collaborates with local affiliates on program training needs and creates a statewide approach to delivering state trainingto local affiliates.
- Responsible for oversight of grant contract deliverables and guidelines.
- Maintains awareness of all program activities and coordinates with affiliate coordinators, teachers and facilitators by providing information to help in the implementation of their programs.
- Supports in theDevelopment for budgetsfor each program and training.
- Schedules and oversees coordination of state-conducted program trainings.
- Oversee the Employee Trainer roster; update as needed.
- Collects and maintains records of training outcomes and projected reach
- Support in the planning of large events
- Updates affiliates with Family and Peer Programs information via email announcements, posting on the website, state newsletter, weeklyreport and blog.
- Creates and updates all program forms – includingapplications and training confirmation letters.
- Proofs,prepares, orders and distributes annual updates to affiliates.
Qualifications:
- Bilingual in speaking,reading and writing in Spanish Language.
- Education and/or Experience bachelor's degree in communication, public administration, business or equivalent; or three to five years working experience and/or training in a non-profit organization
- Experience with event planning and editing skills
- Excellent teamworkskills and ability to workeffectively as part of a nonprofit team dedicated to transforming mental health crisis response systems throughoutthe world.
- Ability to interact professionally, effectively, and appropriately with high-level professionals, board members,
- Highly organized andself-motivated with a strong work ethic and ability to complete all responsibilities without direct supervision.
- Skilled at multitasking, prioritizing, and managing timelines with attention to detail.
- Efficient and accurate with written and oral communication, proofreading skills, and presentation skills.
- Operationalexperience and proficiency with Zoom video conferencing
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office productsand presentation development.
