The Clinical Nurse Manager assumes 24 hour / 7 days a week responsibility for managing the operations of their assigned unit. The Clinical Nurse Manager oversees professional nursing practice to achieve safe, quality patient care as defined by the strategic goals of the medical center. Serves as a transformational leader and maintains current knowledge to coordinate the delivery of care to the specific patient populations cared for on the unit assigned. This role effectively manages within a complex environment through collaboration by utilizing multidisciplinary team strategies.
