This role works closely with Office Leaders and Delivery Managers on project delivery within the Southeast Division, focusing on planning, design, and PM/CM mega projects, especially regarding contracting, planning, and execution. The position ensures the Division meets its HNTB 4 for 4 performance objectives—delivering quality work on time, on budget, and satisfying clients—through implementing the Sophisticated Delivery Approach and SOPs. Responsibilities include implementing Infrastructure Strategy, mentoring, policy implementation, mega project oversight, and participating in the Infrastructure Delivery team.

What You'll Do:
  • Serve as the link between Infrastructure and offices to execute project delivery strategies and contribute to the Infrastructure Business Unit strategy.
  • Mentor Office Leaders and Delivery Managers on mega projects, including contracting, work planning, and project reviews.
  • Conduct in-office training and discussions on project management topics.
  • Oversee mega projects within the Division, including reviews and compliance with SOPs.
  • Monitor mega projects using HNTB's SDA to ensure compliance through various reviews.
  • Collaborate with Quality Managers to ensure quality standards and develop work plans.
  • Assist on mega projects during SDA milestones, including planning and review sessions.
  • Develop and follow up on project recovery plans for problematic projects.
  • Participate in client satisfaction audits quarterly.
  • Lead work planning sessions for mega projects without Infrastructure-level support.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
    • What You'll Need:
    • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, or Planning
    • 15+ years of professional experience with project management
    What We Prefer:
    • Experience with HNTB's SDA and SOPs
    • 20+ years in major client service areas like DOT, Toll, Rail/Transit, Aviation
    • Proven profitability through contracting and negotiations
    • Facilitation experience for mega project strategy sessions
