We offer the potential for significant corporate growth and career development.Our ambition is to strengthen the existing highly experienced team to provide the best in industry support to our growing client base.Role PurposeThe primary purpose is to deliver value-add sourcing services to clients in a structured, professional and consistent manner.We are seeking a dynamic, client-focused individual to join our US IT Sourcing team. The candidate must have experience in the end-to-end sourcing lifecycle for IT engagements,with a particular concentration in the Software Sourcing Category, as described herein.ResponsibilitiesWe are currently seeking a Senior Consultant to join the Technology Services team. The Senior Sourcing Consultant needs to be a dynamic, highly client-focused individual with proven experience within Technology Services.The individual will have experience in working with the main suppliers in the Americas and globally of Technology Services.Main Responsibilities Will Include

• Directly manage IT Sourcing engagements of varying spend, risk, and complexity levels on the IT Sourcing (Americas) Team, managing engagements in one or more of the following categories: Software Licensing/Maintenance, Software as a Service, Hosted Platforms/Services, Market Data software and hosted platforms, Telecom/Networks, Data Center, Hardware, Desktop, and related IT Outsourcing and Managed Services
• Communicate regularly with key business stakeholders to understand strategic direction, business requirements, objectives, and priorities across assigned categories;
• Understand business requirements of each deal, and shape deals and contracts to meet those requirements;
• Assess savings opportunities on all engagements, and work with clients to achieve optimal cost reductions/savings as appropriate;
• Develop and maintain key IT Supplier relationships in the above named IT Sourcing categories, and stay current on their products, services, and competitors;
• Manage competitive bids and RFXs for IT engagements using automated tools, and lead the evaluation and selection process across a cross-functional team of stakeholders;
• Draft contracts based on clients' standard templates, and customize deal-specific commercial terms/conditions as needed;
• Follow required processes and procedures related to supplier engagement, contract negotiation and contract execution to ensure compliance with clients' legal, regulatory, business, and regional policies.
• Provide detailed project status (and associated Savings) reporting on all active and completed Sourcing deals, using required Chain IQ and client tools/platforms;
• Partner with global Chain IQ colleagues to ensure cross-functional coordination of engagements, supplier management, process implementation, and best practices.

Requirements

• Bachelors Degree (Supply Chain concentration and/or MBA would be a plus).
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in IT Sourcing roles in one or more of the following categories: Software Licensing/Maintenance, Software as a Service, other Hosted Platforms/Services, Market Data platforms, Telecom/Networks, Data Center, Hardware, Desktop, and related IT Outsourcing and Managed IT Services;
• Demonstrated sourcing and negotiation experience with major IT Suppliers and/or Global Telecom Carriers;
• Ability to perform contract drafting and negotiations with limited additional legal support for Master SW License Maintenance Agreements, Supply/Task Orders/SOWs; Amendments; Service Level Agreements; etc.
• Ability to structure contracts with multiple concurrent Schedules, Annexes, Supply Orders, and Attachments across multiple global regions
• Demonstrated experience in identifying savings and cost reduction opportunities in IT contract negotiations, and developing and leading negotiating strategies to achieve those savings.
• Ability to manage engagement risk through identification and assessment of relevant hypothetical issues that could impact each engagement, and documenting such scenarios and relevant risk sharing in the contract;
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, and ability to effectively communicate with and influence senior clients/stakeholders;
• Ability to quickly understand and apply new concepts (i.e., business models; governance models; scaling of platform from local to regional to global; supplier pricing models; contracting options and alternatives; sourcing tools and platforms; sourcing process, policies, and procedures);
• Ability to effectively organize and prioritize a wide array of initiatives to tight deadlines

What We OfferWe offer a comprehensive compensation and benefits package where you'll be rewarded based on your performance and recognized for the value you bring to the business. The salary range for New York City Metro Area is $110,000 to $160,000 plus individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, qualifications, skills, location and applicable employment laws.In addition, our Total Rewards package includes medical, vision and dental coverage, 401(k), and a wide range of paid time off options.
