Duties:

• The Sourcing Manager negotiates with suppliers to obtain materials and services at the best prices (total cost of ownership) by developing and implementing strategies for cost reduction, supplier consolidation, quality improvements, and process efficiencies.
• Utilize strategic sourcing strategies and industry knowledge to improve sourcing processes, reduce costs, and maximize profitability.
• Play a key role in daily operations.
• Complete strategic service and material purchase requests by verifying specifications, determining the need for RFI, RFP, or RFQ, administering these processes, and negotiating cost-effective agreements with suppliers based on core procurement values.
• Collaborate with suppliers, internal stakeholders, and Legal to negotiate contractual terms and reduce risks.
• Negotiate favorable terms with suppliers until agreements are finalized and coordinate contract change requests as needed.
• Work with Supplier Quality, Strategic Sourcing, and Business Partners to develop suppliers, improve effectiveness, and reduce costs.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to achieve process excellence and stay current with industry innovations.
• Develop procurement practices and issue resolution strategies in collaboration with department managers.
• Use verification techniques to manage contractual obligations and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Manage relationships with internal stakeholders and suppliers to ensure the delivery of high-quality products and services on time, within scope, and within budget.
• Proactively manage contracts to ensure they are fully executed, including tracking spend and end dates.
• Ensure compliance with all procurement policies, legal, and contractual requirements.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Skills:

• Comprehensive understanding of the procurement cycle, including RFQ and RFP processes.
• Knowledge of business law, commercial terms, and legal issues related to procurement and negotiations.
• Ability to guide and develop sourcing processes, metrics, and supplier engagement strategies.
• Strong influencing, customer service, and issue resolution skills.
• Ability to analyze drawings, scope of work, or SOWs to understand key requirements and create sourcing packages and contracts.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, along with supplier management, negotiation, and analytical skills.
• Experience in creating, analyzing, negotiating, and editing contracts aligned with company standards and business interests.
• Proficiency with MS Office (including advanced Excel, PowerPoint, Word), PowerBI, ServiceNow, SAP, and Ariba.

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, IT, Procurement, Supply Chain Management, or related fields.
• 2-4 years of relevant experience required.

Preferred:

• Certifications such as CPP, CPSM, or CPM.
• Additional knowledge in Project Management, ITIL, COBIT, ITSM.
