Summary

We are actively recruiting a dynamic Sourcing Manager to oversee the Packaging function, managing sourcing and procurement of categories such as Flexible, Corrugated, and Rigid packaging materials.

The salary range for this position is $84,000 - $126,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications, with an annual bonus (performance-dependent). In addition, Perdue offers a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, 401(k) with employer match after 1 year, and more.

Principal and Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Manage sourcing of assigned categories to contribute to company profitability, focusing on packaging materials used in food production.
• Develop RFx events, supply agreements, and related documents using sourcing and contract management processes and technology.
• Maintain necessary supplier documentation such as food safety guarantees, quality certifications, and audit results.
• Develop cost, process, and sustainability improvement projects and manage associated supply risks.
• Analyze spend categories to support supplier performance management and contract compliance.
• Ensure quality and availability of materials meet or exceed requirements to achieve customer satisfaction.
• Manage supplier relationships, including qualification, collaboration, negotiation, and performance evaluation.
• Assist internal teams in developing strategies, budgets, and initiatives to support their goals.

Minimum Education and Experience

Required: Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field, with 5+ years of experience in purchasing, supply chain, or material management. Ability to travel to facilities as needed (up to 25%).

Preferred: CPM, CPSM, or CPIM certification; skills in spend analysis, contract management, and supplier management.

Environmental Factors and Physical Requirements

The position is primarily sedentary but may involve occasional movement between offices or facilities, moving light equipment or supplies, and accessing files and supplies.
