Job Description :

At Caring Transitions of Mocksville & Statesville, we deliver professional, courteous, and seamless services to help families in times of transition. We support relocations, downsizing, online auctions, in-person estate sales, and more!

In this role, you will be primarily sorting, organizing, boxing items, moving, packing, unpacking, resettling and adhering to floor plans.

This is a great opportunity to earn an extra income while helping others without a consistent work schedule. No specific experience necessary. Must be self-motivated and have excellent interpersonal skills as well as develop relationships with clients.

Pay: STARTING PAY $15/HR with the ability to advance

Hours: Part-time, flexible hours & no two days or weeks are the same with no guarantee of hours

Job description (including, but not limited to):

  • Sort, organize and pack household goods to be moved or sold

  • Safely pack/unpack goods

  • Moving supplies/moving boxes within the client's home

  • Staging & preparing homes for sale

  • Interacting with clients, their families, and coworkers

  • Lifting of boxes/decor and some furniture within the home

  • Provide exceptional customer service as you safely pack/unpack and stage/resettle client household items

Job Requirements (including, but not limited to):

  • Must be able to lift 40 pounds

  • Must have a valid driver's license and reliable source of transportation

  • Must be able to stand and work for long periods of time

  • Access to a smart phone for timekeeping & project management apps

  • Must pass a background check
