Key Responsibilities

• Execute a range of ultrasound examinations, such as abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
• Ensure patient comfort and safety throughout procedures, providing explanation with both clarity and compassion
• Work closely with radiologists and referring physicians to generate high-quality diagnostic images
• Operate and uphold imaging equipment, reporting any technical issues promptly
• Maintain accurate procedural documentation and uphold patient records within the electronic medical system
• Stay informed on advancements in ultrasound techniques and best practices

Education Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field
• Preferred completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program

Certifications Required

• Current certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or an equivalent
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification preferred
