Solutions Architect - positions offered by Ford Motor Company (Dearborn, Michigan). Note, this is a hybrid position whereby the employee will work both from home and from the Dearborn office. Hence, the employee must live within a reasonable commuting distance from Dearborn, MI. Lead the design, development, and implementation of end-to-end complex global data integration (ETL) solutions, while applying industry best practices for data integration design, development, and scalability and quality. Own end-to-end technical solution for the teams migrating from On-prem to Cloud Platform. Understand the business requirements and suggest GCP tools and technologies necessary as part of re-architecture needed for Cloud platform. Develop scalable software applications and data solutions. Design Business Intelligence solutions including executive Dashboards. Produce written deliverables for architectural and technical design using DrawIO, Miro, MS Visio tools, solution design for batch as well as real-time data engineering pipelines. Work with Cloud Security and Network teams to solution secured methods to ingested data in and provide data out from the cloud data warehouse. Promote use of LLM tools and Generative AI and incorporate them in the solutions provided to business. Develop Machine Learning operations and monitoring framework. Implement technical solutions that are scalable, aligned with the Global OT/IT Enterprise Architecture and can adapt to changes within the business. Implement ETL solutions that maximize re-usable components/services, collect/share metadata, and incorporate audit, reconciliation, and exception handling. Solution design of reusable Devops pipelines and communicate with Developer community. Own and evolve Data Integration strategy in areas that include, technical architecture and solutions, standards, principles, processes, methodologies, and quality. Develop future state architectures with road maps in the areas of data integration/delivery. Provide guidance and expertise on data storage, data extraction, and ETL processes and most importantly data sharing principles within the company and outside, abiding by the governance and policies around consumer Privacy laws. Facilitate move to Cloud native platform, optimize Cost, reduce waste, promote reusability and deliver Quality and Excellence and utmost Customer Experience in everything. Promote Growth by usage of Generative AI and LLM tools wherever possible.
