What We Do / Project

The Cloud Security Architect is a public cloud security leader focused on architecture, policy, compliance, and engineering support across Azure, GCP, and AWS. This role guides product and engineering teams, conducts reviews, shapes policy, and drives cloud security initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Cloud Security SME
• Identify and reduce cloud security risks, and lead implementations
• Design security solutions and artifacts for cloud environments
• Advise on secure network and serverless architectures
• Provide IAM policy guidance for least privilege access
• Review cloud and AI/ML architectures for security best practices
• Collaborate with cloud providers and security vendors
• Mentor junior team members
• Maintain security documentation and stay current on threats
• Azure security experience
• Proficient in Python, Node.js, or Golang
• IP networking, routing, VPNs
• Hands-on with Azure Security tools, serverless apps, IaC (Terraform/CloudFormation), CLI, Docker/Kubernetes, and GitHub Security

Must-Have Experience

• 2+ years designing and supporting multi-user systems
• 2+ years cloud security architecture reviews and diagram analysis
• 2+ years reviewing configs and managing security exceptions

Preferred

• AWS/GCP certifications (Solutions Architect, Security Specialty)
• CISSP, CompTIA Security+
• Experience with Wiz, Splunk, Brinqa, Slack, Jira integrations

Soft Skills

• Strong cloud infrastructure and security risk knowledge
• Familiarity with compliance in public cloud environments
• Excellent communication and multitasking skills
• Proactive, curious, and threat-aware

Education

• Bachelor's in Computer Science, InfoSec, or related field
• Azure Certifications preferred
