Solutions Architect - Amazon Music BD Partnerships - Amazon : Job Details

We are looking for a talented and experienced Solutions Architect to join our engaging Business Development (BD) team within Amazon Music. Our mission is to create a personalized and seamless music experience for our customers, helping them discover rising talent while enjoying their favorite artists.

In this role, you will contribute to the design and development of systems that operate on a large scale, spanning music applications, web players, and voice-enabled services on Amazon Echo devices powered by Alexa. You will play a vital part in extending Amazon Music's reach globally, enhancing everyday lives through innovative music experiences.

The ideal candidate is driven by a passion for collaboration, demonstrating empathy towards partners' challenges, and advocating for their needs. We seek individuals with a background as a systems or support engineer or technical architect, possessing a strong familiarity with robust application architecture and solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver exceptional Amazon Music experiences by integrating with partner devices and applications as a pivotal member of the BD team.
• Support customer adoption and revenue targets through effective integration of Amazon Music with external partners.
• Educate partners of varying sizes on the advantages of Amazon Music integration, leading architectural discussions to ensure successful deployment.
• Conduct training sessions to empower partner teams considering or currently utilizing Amazon Music integrations.
• Document and share best practices for Amazon Music integration, relaying feedback to the Amazon Music teams.
• Create partner-facing materials, including publications, training documents, and FAQs.
• Build strong relationships with technical stakeholders internally and externally to promote adoption of Amazon Music.
• Facilitate communication between partners and engineering teams, identifying gaps and driving improvements.

Basic Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience in design, implementation, or consulting within applications and infrastructures.
• 4+ years in specific technology domains (software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics).
• 10+ years of experience in IT development or consulting in the software or Internet industries.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in software development or Internet-related fields.
• Experience in migrating or transforming legacy solutions to the cloud.
• Experience with AWS technologies from a dev/ops perspective.
