Solution Development Manager, REPT BATTERO

REPT BATTERO is seeking a Manager of Solution Development to join our dynamic team of skilled professionals, reporting to the VP of Technical Services.

What will you be doing

As a Solution Development Manager, you will be integral in shaping and commercializing technology offerings that align with the needs of the global energy storage market. Your responsibilities will include guiding technology strategy in collaboration with Sales, R&D, and Supply Management to support large-scale energy storage integrated solutions.

The ideal candidate will have 5-10 years of experience in the energy storage sector, focusing on battery technologies and market development. Exceptional communication and customer-facing skills are essential. A thorough understanding of global energy and power markets, including utility-scale renewables and energy storage, is required. You should also possess strong project and process management skills, with experience leading multiple teams on concurrent projects.

As a Manager, Solution Development, you will focus on these responsibilities:

• Lead the development of solutions and concepts for integrated energy storage offerings, ensuring alignment with market demands and customer requirements.

• Design and maintain tools for system design and long-term service agreement (LTSA) technical and commercial proposals.

• Collaborate with regional Sales Managers to understand technical market standards and grid codes, identifying opportunities for differentiation and improved go-to-market strategies.

• Assist regional Sales Engineers in optimizing project proposals, customer presentations, and responses to RFPs for new offerings.

• Develop minimum system designs that fulfill technical and performance requirements for key existing global markets and potential new markets.

• Support the development of strategic partnerships by managing the interface between technical and commercial requirements with key OEM and channel partners.

• Maintain expertise in battery energy storage technologies, revenue models, and revenue stacking and optimization strategies, including the development of modeling and analytical tools.

• Contribute to hardware and software roadmap development, informed by market analysis and customer needs.

• Lead competitive market analysis of technical and commercial offerings.

To be successful in this role, we expect you to have:

• 5–10 years of experience in the energy storage industry, with a focus on battery technologies and market development, strong customer orientation, and excellent communication skills.

• In-depth knowledge of global energy and power markets, including utility-scale renewables and energy storage.

• Proven project and process management skills, with experience leading multiple teams across concurrent projects.

• Strong interpersonal, leadership, and collaboration abilities, with a track record of delivering results in a matrix organization by coordinating diverse teams and priorities.

• Ability to manage multiple tasks across different time zones and take ownership of key initiatives to achieve outcomes.

• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally (approximately 20–40%).

• Proficient in MS Office Suite.

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering required; Master'sdegree is a strong advantage.

• Fluent in English; knowledge of Chinese or other languages is a plus.

• This position is based in the US office.
