The Work
The primary responsibility of this role is to be a value architect in medium-sized to large opportunities involving Apps maintenance, Systems integration/Apps development, and Apps-Infra support engagements, with the ability to individually create Solutions leveraging deep solutioning and delivery experience in one or more areas, while being able to develop these in a collaborative basis with the client including advising/co-creating the solutions.
The SAP Industry Principal will provide software and services sales support, oversee opportunities, and provide solution advisory for software and services sales with the goal of establishing a trusted advisor relationship with prospects and customers.
Prepare and deliver compelling, value-based solutions that differentiate us from other vendors. Guide deal strategy by providing insight for the technical buyer and our solution portfolio. Become a trusted advisor to key decision makers and executives both during the initial sales cycle, as well as through adoption. Understand and convey the business outcomes and business value gained from SAP's technology solutions. Oversee the response to RFIs and RFPs. Lead complex sales cycles with multiple solution advisors. Support one-to-many sales and marketing events both on-site and remotely. Mentor fellow Solution Advisors and share your knowledge and thought leadership with the broader solution advisory team.
Responsibilities:
Position requires travel to client sites as required; must be flexible to travel 25%-75%.
