Job Title: Solution Architect Oracle Supply Chain Duration: 18 Months + Location: Hybrid, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. (Can be remote for the right person, with the willingness for occasional travel to Pittsburgh. Must work EST hours. Preference for local who can work in Downton office 2 days/week.) Rate: $90/hr. Depending on Experience Client- financial services Visa- NO H1-BPosition Summary The Solution Architect for Oracle Supply Chain will play a pivotal role in designing and implementing comprehensive technology solutions that align with our business strategies, objectives, and IT roadmap. This role requires a deep understanding of business processes, enterprise systems, and the ability to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of driving business transformation through innovative technology solutions. The main focus for this individual would be on a Finance Transformation project where the client is taking Supply Chain, Procurement, etc out of Maximo and putting it into OracleEducation/Experience:
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in business and solution architecture, business analysis, or a related role.
  • Strong expertise in cloud platforms (e.g., Oracle Fusion, Azure) and other relevant technologies.
  • Extensive experience with microservices architecture, APIs, and integration patterns, including RESTful services and event-driven architectures.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Inventory Management, Analytics, and other business applications.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and design scalable, high-performance solutions.
  • Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall methodologies for project delivery, including experience with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead workshops, training sessions, and change management activities.
  • Proven ability to drive business transformation through technology, with a deep understanding of business processes and their relationship to enterprise systems.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CBAP, TOGAF, Azure, Oracle) are a plus.
  • Knowledge of PowerPlan and/or IBM's Maximo is required

Job Responsibilities:
  • Lead the design and architecture of end-to-end solutions by collaborating with stakeholders to understand business needs and translating them into detailed technical specifications.
  • Develop and maintain architectural blueprints, roadmaps, and comprehensive as-is and to-be process documentation, including business architecture models and technical documentation.
  • Ensure solutions are aligned with business goals and deliver measurable value, leveraging best practices in architecture and design.
  • Evaluate and recommend new technologies, tools, and frameworks to enhance business capabilities, focusing on scalability, performance, and security.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to project teams on business requirements, solution design, and implementation strategies.
  • Conduct architectural reviews and assessments to ensure compliance with industry standards, best practices, and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate closely with project managers to ensure timely delivery of projects, playing a critical role in Finance Transformation programs (e.g., Supply Chain, Procurement, Inventory Management, Analytics consolidation and implementation).
  • Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, translating complex technical concepts into understandable terms.
  • Monitor and assess the impact of implemented solutions on business performance, ensuring continuous improvement and optimization.
