Solution Architect - Akkodis : Job Details

Akkodis is seeking a Solution Architect for a contract job with a client in Hillsboro, NJ. Candidates must have proven leadership experience in implementing Data Mesh architecture and building scalable Data Products. Rate Range: $53/hour to 64/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors. Solution Architect job responsibilities include:

• Design and implement scalable architecture solutions aligned with Data Mesh principles and enterprise goals.
• Lead the development of data products, ensuring they meet governance, quality, and usability standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and enforce data governance frameworks and best practices.
• Provide architectural leadership across projects, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture strategies.
• Evaluate and recommend tools, platforms, and technologies to support data integration and analytics.
• Guide teams in adopting modern data architecture patterns, including domain-oriented ownership and self-serve infrastructure.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Data Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in solution architecture, with at least 3 years in data-centric roles.
• Proven leadership in implementing Data Mesh and Data Product strategies across enterprise environments.
• Strong expertise in data governance frameworks and aligning architecture with enterprise-wide business goals.
