Solution Architect (ETL, MS SQL, SAP HANA)- 100% REMOTE- US ONLY Conexess is partnering with a dynamic and forward-thinking Data & Analytics Center of Excellence to find an experienced SAP HANA Architect to join their Product Engineering team. This is a Contract, fully remote role, Eastern / Central Time Zone, designed for a technical leader who thrives in collaborative, high-performing environments. About the Role: This is a hands-on architecture position, where you will design and lead end-to-end data solutions using SAP HANA and associated technologies. The ideal candidate will have deep technical expertise, sharp problem-solving skills, and the ability to translate complex technical concepts for business stakeholders. This role goes beyond development - you'll guide technical teams, shape architecture roadmaps, and help bridge the gap between strategy and execution. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead solution architecture for data platforms, ensuring scalable and secure design.
- Collaborate with business and technical teams to translate requirements into data models and architecture strategies.
- Provide hands-on leadership for model creation, ETL, and proof-of-concept initiatives.
- Promote architectural best practices, teamwork, and inclusion across projects.
- Adapt to evolving priorities, working within an Agile (SAFe) environment.
- Guide and mentor teams through technical decisions, change processes, and project delivery.
Required Qualifications:
- 10-12 years of software platform development and architectural design experience.
- 5+ years in data warehouse application development and advanced analytics concepts.
- 3+ years of hands-on SAP HANA model design (analytic privileges & calculation views).
- 4+ years providing technical leadership to teams of 10-15 members.
- Proven expertise in SAP HANA, ETL (BODS, SLT, SDI), and MS SQL Server.
- Strong understanding of data modeling, security, and architecture.
- Experience managing multiple cross-functional projects with staggered timelines.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Proficiency in Agile development, especially SCRUM within SAFe methodology.
Preferred Experience:
- HR/Talent data models and systems (e.g., SAP SuccessFactors, SAP ECC).
- Knowledge of data security, classification, and distributed systems design.
- Hybrid cloud / on-premises data environments.
- Exposure to visualization tools like Crystal Reports, Analysis for Office, Tableau, Qlik.
