A proven EPC leader in distributed generation solar is hiring a Solar Superintendent to oversee the successful delivery of commercial and utility-interconnected solar projects in New York State.

Headquartered in the Tri-State Area, the company has delivered over 100 MW of high-quality solar installations and supports more than 1 GW of operating assets across the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic. With a growing pipeline of DG projects, they're expanding their field leadership team to meet strong regional demand.

As Solar Superintendent, you'll take charge of on-site execution—leading field teams, managing subcontractors, and ensuring every project is completed safely, on time, and on budget. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on leader to play a vital role in the clean energy transition.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead all on-site construction activities for assigned solar projects, ensuring adherence to plans, timelines, and safety standards
• Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, and stakeholders to ensure smooth execution
• Maintain rigorous safety practices and enforce company and regulatory protocols
• Monitor schedules and adjust as needed to keep projects on track
• Conduct quality control inspections and resolve issues as they arise
• Hold regular site meetings and provide progress updates to internal and external teams
• Supervise and guide subcontractors, laborers, and on-site personnel
• Oversee site logistics, including material deliveries, equipment, and storage
• Maintain accurate site records, including daily logs, time tracking, and photo documentation

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in solar construction, preferably in a supervisory or site management capacity
• Proven track record managing large-scale DG solar projects from start to finish
• Strong understanding of construction schedules, sequencing, and best practices
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Ability to identify and resolve field issues independently
• Proficient in reading and interpreting plans, one-lines, and technical drawings
• OSHA 30 certification (or willingness to obtain) preferred
• Willingness to travel or temporarily relocate within New York State as needed
