You'll be part of a collaborative UX team focused on improving how engineers interact with our Automated Test Equipment (ATE) software.We're looking for someone who's confident designing in complex technical spaces, with strong interaction and visual design skills, and a thoughtful, user-centered approach.Design usable, engaging, and visually appealing desktop and web applicationsIdentify opportunities to improve usability and increase user efficiencyEstablish reusable design patterns and contribute to a scalable design systemCollaborate with product managers, developers, and fellow designers throughout the development processTranslate user needs, technical requirements, and business goals into thoughtful design solutionsApply user-centered design processes grounded in research, data, and feedbackCommunicate design ideas clearly through wireframes, mockups, prototypes, and visual specificationsHelp shape design standards, workflows, and best practices for the UX teamStay current on UX trends and draw inspiration from a wide range of domainsAll About You5+ years of UX design experience, with a strong foundation in interaction and visual designA portfolio that demonstrates thoughtful solutions to complex problems across desktop and web applicationsSolid understanding of layout, typography, visual hierarchy, and information architectureAbility to distill complex concepts into clear, actionable design ideasExcellent communication skills—able to explain your design decisions to a wide range of stakeholdersAdaptability and a willingness to learn new skills, tools, and technologiesStrong stakeholder management and facilitation skillsFamiliarity with desktop application design patterns (Windows, Qt, etc.) is preferredExperience designing software for engineers or other technical usersBachelor's degree in HCI, Graphic Design, Interaction Design, or a related field (or equivalent experience)Background working in complex design environments (e.g., test systems, enterprise software, semiconductors)Experience creating and maintaining a comprehensive design system to ensure consistency and scalability across a range of digital productsA strong portfolio that shows high-quality design work with attention to detailTeradyne offers a variety of robust health and well-being benefit programs, including medical, dental, vision, Flexible Spending Accounts, retirement savings plans, life and disability insurance, paid vacation & holidays, tuition assistance programs, and more.
