The Software Tools Engineer is a cross-functional role focused on optimizing software tools to enhance project execution across multiple business areas, including Avionics, Electric Power, and Engines. This position combines technical expertise and business acumen to design, create, and optimize systems that meet customer needs and deliver high-quality solutions. In this role, you will plan and execute departmental operations, support product groups in achieving objectives, and resolve issues through immediate action or strategic planning. The role emphasizes improving project execution using the IBM ELM toolchain and its integrations, offering a dynamic environment for individuals seeking to deepen their understanding of the business while driving innovation and efficiency. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with strong initiative, capable of proactively reaching out to stakeholders and potential customers to identify needs, build relationships, and drive collaboration.
Roles and ResponsibilitiesBachelors degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Systems Engineering or related field from an accredited university or college. A minimum of 3 years of experience with software or systems development for Safety Critical Systems.
Preferred QualificationsThe base pay range for this position is 105,600.00 - 140,700.00 USD Annual. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidates experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus based on a percentage of your base salary/commission based on the plan. This posting is expected to close on 08/08/2025.
