Software Test Engineer - KONGSBERG MARITIME : Job Details

We are seeking a talented Software Test Engineer to join our Drives R&D team. You will play an important role in testing and maintaining our control system for power electronics.You will work closely with our software developers and product team to create optimized drive products for the marine industry. As a member of our team, you will be at the core of the technology that enables the use of new energy sources and energy-efficient solutions for the ongoing green shift in the maritime industry.Responsibilities include:Testing and verification of new software functionality, optimization, and maintenanceSuggesting improvements and new featuresManaging releasesWorking with Azure DevOps for test reporting and traceabilityQualifications:BSc in a relevant field; relevant experience may compensate for a formal degreeInterest in software testing, power electronics, or maritime industryExperience with frequency converters or maritime solutions is a plusA curious mindset and willingness to learnAt KONGSBERG , we believe that diversity fuels innovation.
