America Networks is a leading sensor and networking solutions partner for companies in the Industrial, Manufacturing, and Waste management sectors.

We design and manufacture sensors for storage tanks, water metering, energy metering, gas monitoring, and asset management.

Our founders are experienced telecommunications engineers with over 200 years of combined experience in designing, optimizing, and performance engineering for several mid to large wireless carriers internationally. They identified the need to provide low-power, cost-efficient sensors for data collection, alert creation, and predictive actions. We integrate these sensors with low power, wide area (LPWA) networking technologies to help clients reduce recurring costs associated with operating IoT networks of sensors and connected devices.

We specialize in the design, deployment, optimization, and support of these networks. Whether an off-the-shelf or custom solution is required, we create tailored solutions and facilitate data transfer to the most suitable cloud platform, including client-owned options.

We are seeking a candidate with strong experience in Java, J2EE, Spring, Akka, and Spring Boot. The role requires 100% hands-on software coding and development skills.

Knowledge of Hadoop and Hive interfaces is preferred but not mandatory. Experience with machine learning is a plus but not required. Familiarity with R, Scala, or Python is also advantageous.
