Software System Architect - BNA : Job Details

B&A is seeking a highly skilled Data Architect to support our technical and program teams in designing, documenting, and implementing complex systems and architectures. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with program and project leaders to define and create architectural artifacts, ensuring logical flow and alignment with project goals. This individual will possess a deep understanding of software design, system integration, and technology strategies across platforms, applications, and networks.

• A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in software/system architecture is required with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related technical field.

• In lieu of a degree, a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in software/system architecture is required.

• Proven experience designing enterprise-level systems and software architectures.
• Familiarity with a variety of software development languages and platforms (e.g., Java, Python, .NET, etc.).
• Understanding of system strategy design, including platform selection, network integration, and application architecture.
• Ability to create and interpret architectural documentation and diagrams (e.g., UML, SysML, or similar).
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

• Experience with cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Knowledge of DevSecOps practices and CI/CD pipeline integration.
• Familiarity with cybersecurity principles and secure system design.
• Agile development and project management experience.
• Clearance: Ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance.
