14123 - Software Quality Assurance Tester (Remote) - Austin, TX Start Date: ASAP Type: Temporary Project Estimated Duration: 12 months with possible extensions Work Setting: Remote Required: •Experience testing complex Web Applications (8+ years); •Experience testing all phases of Software Development Life Cycle (8+ years); •Experience with Advanced Database/SQL Language (5+ years); •Experience with API, JSON, XML (3+ years); •Experience with WAPT Pro, Jmeter, or other performance testing tools (2+ years). Preferred: •Experience testing reports (5+ years); •Experience in API testing (SOAP and REST) (3+ years); •Experience with Zephyr Scale (2+ years); •Experience with JIRA (2+ years). Responsibilities: •Administer the daily operations and activities of testing teams within the Quality Assurance (QA) section of IT-SEDS; •Plan, budget, and analyze user requirements, procedures, and problems to automate processing or to improve existing systems; •Analyze user requirements, design documents, and other documentation to develop detailed test cases; •Create and execute automated functional and regression test cases against HTML, PDF, and Excel Reports; •Report and document all issues, test cases ran, test results, and testing summaries in detail; •Perform SQL queries to analyze and manipulate data; •Execute performance and accessibility testing.
