Position would require the candidate to be a W2 employee of Donatech.US Citizenship Required. The Software Quality Assurance Engineer role will: Develop, modify, apply, and maintain standards for software quality operating methods, processes, systems, and procedures.o Ensure that project and process control documentation are compliant with standards, objectives, and/or contract requirements via inspection, reviews, and audits. Develop overall operating measures and criteria to ensure implementation of the software quality program according to standards, objectives, and/or contract requirements.o Ensure measures meet acceptable performance standards/targets/goals. Contribute to software development and maintenance processes and methods utilized by Software Engineering, ensuring compliance with requirements, objectives and/or contract requirements. Review software engineering work products (e.g., design, change specifications, and plans) against contractual and/or process requirements. Perform or direct verification of software requirement allocations, traceability, and testability.Basic Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, another STEM degree or equivalent and at least 5 years of software experience or 3 years with a Masters degree or 0 years with a PhD in one of the above disciplines. Understanding of software engineering principles, practices, and theories. Experience in operating in a Quality Management System (QMS). Strong analytical skill with an understanding of basic problem solving. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Embodiment of our client Values. Proficiency in MS Office Applications especially Excel, Word, PowerPoint. US Citizenship required.Preferred Skills: Experience coding in Ada, C, C++, and/or Python. Ability to understand and work with multiple enterprise-wide systems and software problem tracking tools such as DOORs, GitHub, Jira, Confluence, and BitBucket. Experience with ISO and AS9100 standards requirements. Knowledge and/or experience with Root Cause and Corrective Action tools. Ability and willingness to continuously learn and implement new processes. Knowledge of waterfall and/or Agile life-cycles.
