Job Description

We are seeking a Software Product Manager to lead the development, deployment, and management of the software platform for EverClean, our ship maintenance product.. This role requires close collaboration with highly technical teams to articulate needs, prioritize work, and deliver features that empower the operators of EverClean in the field and ensures the objectives of this important business unit are met. The ideal candidate will bring experience managing software development in technical domains, with a strong background in backlog management, Jira-based tracking, stakeholder engagement, configuration management, and software deployment.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary stakeholder for the software platform of the EverClean product. This includes, but is not limited to, the robot Guidance, Navigation, Command, and Control software, the robot graphical user interface, the remote operations platform, and the cloud data aggregation software.
  • Develop, manage, and enforce an agile yet disciplined software release process for EverClean software components.
  • Foster an agile and responsive software development environment that is well connected to the overall EverClean product, the developers, the operators, and the larger enterprise.
  • Define and maintain the product vision and roadmap for all aspects of the EverClean software ecosystem.
  • Gather requirements from technical stakeholders and end-users to ensure teams focus on building the right features.
  • Translate user and business needs into clear product requirements and backlog items.
  • Manage and prioritize the product development plan for EverClean software, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
  • Use Jira to track progress, manage sprints, and communicate project status.
  • Lead regular team standups to clearly and effectively foster communication throughout the EverClean software team and the larger EverClean product team.
  • Manage the documentation required to support each software release so that field teams are able to readily adopt and efficiently use each release.
  • Facilitate communication between technical teams and field operators to validate usability and performance.
  • Monitor adoption and feedback from field deployments to refine the product roadmap.
  • All other responsibilities as reasonably assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant business or technical field
  • 4-7 years' experience with product management, software development life cycle, software products, and software development teams. Personal software development experience is not required but experience within the field is expected.
  • Background working with highly technical engineering teams.
  • Familiarity with robotics, autonomy, or complex technical systems preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of backlog management and Jira (or similar tools).
  • Experience developing and maintaining delivery schedules or release cadences.
  • Ability to translate complex technical requirements into clear, actionable plans
  • Highly organized and able to manage multiple stakeholders
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to see the big picture.
