Job DescriptionMorgan Hunter is working with a valued client to help them identify candidates for a Software Engineering Manager position. This role is direct hire. It's a hybrid role, in the office 2 or 3 days a week, M/W/F. They are looking for the following qualifications:
- 7+ years of backend or frontend development experience
- 3+ years of management experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Desire to meet and exceed measurable performance goals
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience working with internal stakeholders, designers, and support personnel to take a product from inception to production
- Ability to mentor engineers in writing high quality, well-tested code that meets the needs of our customers
- Previous experience with our tech stack:
- Python: Django, FastAPI, Celery
- Docker/Kubernetes
- PostgreSQL + PostGIS
- RESTful APIs and JSON: API
- AWS: Fargate, RDS, API Gateway
- Typescript, React
