Description
As a high-leverage team, we are responsible for designing, building, and scaling Apple's privacy-centric platform, which enables many of Apple's signature applications and user experiences. Our work significantly impacts over a billion users and is crucial to the success of Apple's growth in services. In this role, you will:
Collaborate effectively to resolve intricate challenges, with the potential to develop innovative solutions.Contribute to the evolution of our design and architecture to support the ongoing growth of our compute platform.Develop the next generation of cloud platform that powers Apple Intelligence Private Cloud Compute.Collaborate with cross-functional teams within Apple to design and implement features and functionalities that enable novel experiences within the Apple ecosystem and Apple Intelligence.Minimum Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience managing software engineering teams.
- A strong software engineering background, especially in developing distributed systems at scale.
- Hands-on experience in software development, particularly in Java and Golang, with a focus on high-scale services.
- Problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Bachelor's degree in an engineering-related field or equivalent experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Proven project management skills applicable to engineering management roles.
- Experience operating and developing infrastructure within public cloud environments such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Strong interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships with diverse teams and management levels.
- Ability to work with incomplete requirements and manage multiple priorities.
- Self-motivated learning of new technologies.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
At Apple, base pay is part of our total compensation, determined within a range based on skills, experience, and location. The pay range for this role is $188,200 to $325,500.
Employees can participate in stock programs, including restricted stock units and employee stock purchase plans, and receive benefits such as medical coverage, retirement plans, discounts, and educational reimbursements. This role may also be eligible for bonuses, commissions, and relocation assistance.
