All current and newly hired employees who are unvaccinated will be required to adhere to onsite safety protocols\.**Description:** The candidate will be part of the Combat Systems Simulation Development team support the development of multiple products to include the Next Generation Simulation \(NGS\) product line\. Our team will support the Naval Surface Warfare Center – Dahlgren Division \(NSWCDD\) in development, test, certification, in\-service support, and training of these product lines\. The successful candidate will help stand\-up the development team and embrace the “T\-shaped” approach to software engineering\. The candidate will be a leading member of the development team in an Agile environment utilizing a Scrum Framework\.**Basic Qualifications:**4 years of general combat systems experience10 years software development experience in a modeling & simulation environment utilizing C\#, C\+\+, Java, Python, or other high\-level languagesAbility to obtain a Secret Security ClearanceExperience working in a Linux/Unix environmentSkills and experience necessary to design, develop and maintain complex real\-time Modeling & Simulation \(M&S\) computer programsExperience in establishing and maintaining software development schedules and monitoring the technical progress of computer program modules toward these schedules**Desired Skills:**Current Secret Security ClearanceDegree in computer science, mathematics, applied statistics, various engineering disciplines, or related STEM disciplineExperience with development in an Agile environment: Scrum or SAFe preferredCyber Security including Security Technical Implementation Guide \(STIG\) controlsExperience with Test Driven Development, Unit Testing, Component Testing, and Test AutomationStrong problem\-solving skills, including the ability to review performance issues, identify root cause, recommend, and develop a solutionAgile certifications \- CSM, PSM, PMI\-ACP or equivalent**BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:**job\.Qualifications**Lockheed Martin is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer\.
