Title:Software Engineer, Specialist. KBR is looking for a specialist-level Software Engineer to support the development and maturation of USAF open architecture standards. Our team leads the charge in architecture development, maturation, and coordination for multiple high-profile programs. Specific tasks:Instantiate, develop, and mature open architecture software in a KBR environment. Produce and brief demonstrations of open architecture core software and architecture-compliant capabilities. Ability to quickly understand and navigate complex systems with established code bases. A desire to work on critical software that has a real-world impact. Performs all activities associated with the design, development, implementation, maintenance, configuration management and quality control of software for scientific/engineering applications. Perform internal testing of software products. Respond to and resolve software discrepancies against documented requirements.
