As a software engineer, you will work on critical projects, with opportunities to switch teams and projects as you grow. We require versatility, leadership qualities, and enthusiasm for tackling new problems across the full tech stack.

Responsibilities:

• Manage project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables.
• Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and enhance software solutions.

The Core team builds the technical foundation for Google's flagship products, focusing on design elements, developer platforms, product components, and infrastructure. We aim to build solutions that improve user experiences and drive innovation company-wide.

Salary and Benefits:

The US base salary range is $141,000-$202,000 plus bonus, equity, and benefits. Salary is determined by role, level, location, skills, experience, and education. Specific salary details will be shared during the hiring process. For more information about benefits, visit Google Benefits.

Additional Responsibilities:

• Write product or system development code.
• Guide design reviews with peers and stakeholders.
• Review code developed by others and provide feedback.
• Contribute to documentation and educational content.
• Triage issues, debug, and resolve problems affecting hardware, network, or service quality.
