Overview
As part of a small, experienced team, you will contribute to Tesla's cutting-edge Dojo Supercomputer, shaping the future of autonomous driving, Optimus, and AI. You will optimize Tesla's neural network training by developing user-space and kernel drivers for our custom-silicon supercomputer systems. Your responsibilities include building and enhancing drivers and control systems for the Dojo distributed training system.
Responsibilities
Develop and optimize device drivers for seamless hardware-software interaction in the Dojo system.Improve the reliability and performance of the control plane, including drivers, cluster monitoring, and repair routines.Collaborate with researchers and software engineers to profile applications, identify bottlenecks, and enhance hardware-software performance.Work with the hardware team to understand custom silicon architecture and propose driver and hardware improvements.Qualifications
- Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience demonstrating exceptional ability.
- Extensive experience in C++ and C programming.
- Strong background in user-space or kernel device driver development, especially PCIe-based systems.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams.

Compensation
Expected annual salary ranges from $132,000 to $390,000, plus stock awards and benefits. Compensation varies based on location, experience, and other factors. Specific details will be provided upon offer.
