Summary:

Role: As an Audio Embedded Engineer at Meta, you will help develop innovative hardware and software that redefine how people work, play, and connect, especially in virtual and augmented reality environments. Required Skills:

• Analyze, design, develop, and debug audio features on Android systems.
• Collaborate across scientific and engineering disciplines to deliver software solutions rapidly.
• Develop software for consumer devices.
• Write clean, readable code, debug complex issues, prioritize effectively, and work efficiently.
• Continuously learn, explore new technologies, and embrace problem-solving ambiguity.

Minimum Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience in audio software systems, including DSP or machine learning signal processing.
• Experience with Android or Linux audio stack development.
• Proven ability to develop, debug, and ship software across large, multi-platform codebases.
• Strong communication skills and experience working across disciplines to find optimal solutions.

Preferred Qualifications:

• MS or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related fields.
• Experience with DSP in the audio domain.
• Collaborative experience in cross-functional teams.
• Knowledge of audio software features across all layers of the audio stack.

Compensation: $85.10/hour to $251,000/year + bonus, equity, benefits.
