Software Engineer, Advisor - Jack Henry & Associates, Inc. Location: 663 West Highway 60, Monett, MO 65708Duties: Oversees the timely, effective, and quality delivery of software into production.Defines or refines standards for the design and development of software.Collaborates with developers, QA, operations, and management to provide technical direction in requirements analysis, design, development, testing, and deployment.Establishes and reviews business and technical requirements and project plans to ensure standards are met and knowledge is transferred among staff.Completes product technical design, prototyping, software development, and bug resolution.Performs system analysis and programming activities requiring extensive research.Provides technical support for applications from delivery to retirement.Estimates project efforts and oversees tasks and budgets.Develops and tests applications based on business requirements and best practices.Creates technical documentation and contributes to standard definitions and process improvements.Works with QA to ensure high-quality product delivery and with customer support to resolve defects.Performs release validation testing and beta support.Researches problems and develops solutions, conducts testing, and mentors peers.Evaluates new technologies and may contribute to product architecture.May act as a team lead.Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.Ten years of experience in software engineering or development, including experience with Azure DevOps and financial applications.Six years of experience with .Net, C#, or ASP.NET.Alternatively, a Master's degree plus 8 years of relevant experience can be considered.Remote work from any U.S. location is possible.Must have legal authority to work in the U.S. EEOE.Mail resume to: Rachel Raymond, Sr. Manager, Strategic Talent Acquisition, 663 West Highway 60, Monett, MO 65708.
