Under the guidance of the Manager or Senior Team Lead, you will be responsible for designing and developing advanced web-based software. Your duties include creating programmatic interfaces (APIs), developing interactive features to improve the MATLAB app building experience, and writing high-quality, extensible code following software engineering principles, patterns, and methodologies. You will also monitor performance and oversee integration processes. The role involves participating in all phases of product development, from requirements gathering and design to implementation, testing, and validation. Collaboration with cross-functional teams—including engineering, quality assurance, user experience, and documentation—is essential. The goal is to increase productivity and deliver quality features to market. You will work on enhancing software architecture to align with evolving vision and requirements, and collaborate with subject matter experts to continuously improve design strategies. This position may allow telecommuting up to 40% of the time.
