The Software Engineer develops, maintains, and enhances complex and diverse software systems based on documented requirements. Works individually or as part of a team. Reviews and tests software components for adherence to design requirements and documents test results. Resolves software problem reports. Utilizes appropriate software development and design methodologies. Provides specific input to system design, including hardware/software trade-offs, reuse, and requirements analysis.

Experience with C++, Requirements Analysis, Design and Development, and Integration and Testing is required.

• Analyze user requirements to derive software design and performance requirements.
• Debug existing software and correct defects.
• Recommend improvements for documentation and development standards.
• Design and code new software or modify existing software.
• Integrate existing software into new or modified systems.
• Develop simple data queries for databases or data repositories.

• No demonstrated experience required.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline; four years of relevant experience may substitute.

Position requires active Security Clearance with appropriate Polygraph.

Pay Range: $97,000 - $139,000. Compensation considers various factors including responsibilities, education, experience, and competencies.
