Software Developer **Location:** Midtown Manhattan NYC, NY (Onsite). **Job Type** : Full Time. **Schedule:** Weekday, Dayshift. **Pay Range** : Starting at $130,000 per year.

Job Description:

VitalCheck Wellness is seeking a skilled Software Developer to join our dynamic team in New York, NY, The ideal candidate will have experience in designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality software solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Research, develop, and maintain software solutions and novel algorithms to ensure seamless data access, integration, performance, scalability, reliability, and functionality.
• Identify, isolate, and solve software related issues.
• Aggregate, analyze, and develop tools for visualize data.
• Collaborate with relevant teams and stakeholders to design, develop, and support software products/solutions.
• Implement secure and scalable solutions while following healthcare data regulations (HIPAA, GDPR, etc.).
• Optimize system performance and troubleshoot software issues.
• Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years hands-on work experience in software development.
• Proficiency in Java, Python, or .NET for backend development.
• Experience with React, Angular, or Vue.js for frontend development.
• Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, etc.).
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
• Experience in healthcare IT, EMR/EHR systems, PACS, or medical device integration is a plus.
• Experience analyzing data in biology and medicine, and computational human genetics
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Nice to Have:

• Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with mobile app development (Android/iOS).
• Exposure to Agile methodologies.
