Software Developer Engineer Test (SDET) - Remote - cyberThink : Job Details

Job Description: As an SDET, you will be responsible for developing, executing, and maintaining automated test scripts, ensuring high-quality software releases. This role requires expertise in test automation frameworks, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile development practices. Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium WebDriver, Protractor, or Webdriver.IO
• Implement and optimize test practices, standards, and processes for automation
• Ensure automation tests run continuously, analyze failures, and report issues promptly
• Develop and execute automated unit tests and track testing metrics for publication
• Work closely with Product Teams, Product Owners, and Scrum Masters to manage project testing schedules
• Implement Acceptance Test-Driven Development (ATDD) using Gherkin language (Cucumber)
• Ensure integration of automated testing with CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Bamboo, or GIT
• Perform exploratory testing and provide insights into improving test coverage
• Utilize industry-standard tools for logging bugs, tracking test cases, and reporting defects (JIRA, Zephyr, HP Quality Center)
• Work with web services virtualization to enhance testing efficiency

Required Skills, Experiences, Education, and Competencies:

• 5-7 years of hands-on experience in developing and maintaining automated test scripts
• Strong experience with Selenium WebDriver, Protractor, and Webdriver.IO
• Proficiency in ATDD frameworks using Gherkin language (Cucumber)
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD processes and tools such as Jenkins, Bamboo, and GIT
• Strong understanding of Agile development practices and methodologies
• Experience with exploratory testing and industry-standard test management tools
• Familiarity with web services virtualization and test automation strategies
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Strong communication and collaboration skills in cross-functional teams

The hourly range for roles of this nature are $40.00 to $70.00/hr. Rates are heavily dependent on skills, experience, location, and industry. cyberThink is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
