Job Description: As an SDET, you will be responsible for developing, executing, and maintaining automated test scripts, ensuring high-quality software releases. This role requires expertise in test automation frameworks, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile development practices. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium WebDriver, Protractor, or Webdriver.IO
- Implement and optimize test practices, standards, and processes for automation
- Ensure automation tests run continuously, analyze failures, and report issues promptly
- Develop and execute automated unit tests and track testing metrics for publication
- Work closely with Product Teams, Product Owners, and Scrum Masters to manage project testing schedules
- Implement Acceptance Test-Driven Development (ATDD) using Gherkin language (Cucumber)
- Ensure integration of automated testing with CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Bamboo, or GIT
- Perform exploratory testing and provide insights into improving test coverage
- Utilize industry-standard tools for logging bugs, tracking test cases, and reporting defects (JIRA, Zephyr, HP Quality Center)
- Work with web services virtualization to enhance testing efficiency
Required Skills, Experiences, Education, and Competencies:
- 5-7 years of hands-on experience in developing and maintaining automated test scripts
- Strong experience with Selenium WebDriver, Protractor, and Webdriver.IO
- Proficiency in ATDD frameworks using Gherkin language (Cucumber)
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD processes and tools such as Jenkins, Bamboo, and GIT
- Strong understanding of Agile development practices and methodologies
- Experience with exploratory testing and industry-standard test management tools
- Familiarity with web services virtualization and test automation strategies
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication and collaboration skills in cross-functional teams
