The Role

As the Staff Software Architect, you will be pivotal in driving the company's technical success. Your responsibilities will include:

• Defining and championing the overarching technical vision and architecture of the platform.
• Architecting and designing high-quality, scalable, resilient, and maintainable enterprise-grade software solutions.
• Establishing and governing best practices for system architecture, design patterns, and development methodologies.
• Mentoring and elevating the engineering team through code reviews, technical discussions, and direct guidance.
• Collaborating across functions to ensure seamless integration and alignment on technical direction.
• Identifying and mitigating technical risks while staying ahead of emerging technology trends.

The Essential Requirements

• Proven success architecting solutions within a high-growth, fast-paced startup or scale-up environment.
• Experience designing platforms for complex, real-world operational industries (e.g., logistics, fintech, manufacturing).
• 7+ years of experience in software development, with a minimum of 3 years in a leadership or architecture role.
• Deep expertise in system design and architecture for complex enterprise applications.
• Strong knowledge of relational databases (e.g. PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL databases (e.g. MongoDB).
• Proficiency in modern Python programming.
• Proven experience working in an AWS cloud platform environment.
• Experience in any of the following: Geospatial tracking for real-time visibility, Route optimization using spatial data and traffic patterns, Geofencing to trigger alerts and automate workflows or Mapping APIs to visualize movements across networks.
• Familiarity with agile development methodologies and modern DevOps practices.
• Exceptional problem-solving skills with a deep understanding of scalability, performance, and security.
