[email protected] Description Specific activities to be performed include, but are not limited to:
- Provide regular status updates to upper management on various projects and keep them abreast of risk, issues and mitigation plans
- Guide requirements gathering meetings to elicit functional and/or operational requirements to define system functionality and current operations
- Coordinate and document resolution of requirements and technical design comments and gaps with business and vendor staff
- Evaluate design, develop, test, and confirm that results are consistent with the system or business processes;
- Analyze and revise flow charts, dashboards, process models and technical specs describing as-is or to-be IT systems or business processes In addition to core architectural responsibilities, the Software Architect will serve as a specialized IT professional responsible for managing, configuring, and maintaining the New York State of Health (NYSOH) Business Intelligence (BI) environment. Task include but are not limited to:
- Installation and Configuration
- Security and Access Control
- Performance Optimization
- Content Management
- Monitoring and Troubleshooting
Mandatory Qualifications 1 Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or Computer Science. 2 42 months of experience with developing reports specializing on Eligibility/Enrollment/Coverage data generated through NYS health exchange or other state-based or federal health exchange for Medicaid, CHP, and Essential Plan programs; NOT claims data. 3 42 months of experience with NYS health exchange, or other State- based or Federal health exchange, with specific focus on eligibility determination rules and NYS Affordable Care Act (federal) rules, NOT claims data. 4 42 months of experience in developing reports used for resolving data discrepancies between the NYS health exchange and other NYS state-based systems, including eMedNY, WMS, KIDS, and OTDA. 5 42 months of experience designing and developing complex analytic/reporting systems for NYS Affordable Care Act (ACA), or other State-based or Federal health exchanges. 6 84 months of experience with enterprise strategic BI DW Assessment that includes data interrogation/data profiling by writing complex PL/SQl procedures and SQL queries, and based on the assessment outcome, preparing Enterprise BI DW roadmap. 7 84 months of experience with various reporting and data transformation tools by providing support to business community with various data requests and issue analysis.
