nou Systems, a Hemisphere IDIQ awardee, is pleased to announce the opening for a Software Architect who will join our Engineering Services team in El Segundo, CA, and become part of our rapidly growing technology company operating in missile defense, cybersecurity, test range modernization, biotechnology, and space control markets.

• Lead the architectural design and development of large-scale enterprise software engineering projects.
• Oversee the implementation of Agile methodologies and processes at scale, focusing on enterprise software engineering.
• Implement and manage DevSecOps, SRE, and vertical slice development approaches and best practices.
• Provide management and leadership for large-scale programs, including multiple Agile teams and deployment pipelines (more than 100 personnel).
• Communicate effectively with leadership, stakeholders, and industry communities to ensure alignment and project success.
• Ensure compliance with IC, DoD, Air Force, Space Force, or SSC processes for deploying systems to production.
• Design and deploy highly available, scalable cloud solutions (IaaS and PaaS).
• Develop scalable Data as a Service (DaaS) solutions.
• Demonstrate expertise through publications and patents.

• Bachelor's in Computer Science or related field with 14+ years of relevant experience, or a Master's with 12+ years, or a PhD with 9+ years.
• Active Top-Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.
• 14+ years in software engineering and architecture for large enterprise projects.
• 2+ years IC or DoD experience designing and deploying large enterprise solutions.
• 1+ years SAP experience with complex mission partners and classified programs.
• Expertise in Agile at scale, modern enterprise software practices, DevSecOps, SRE, and vertical slice development.
• Effective leadership of large programs (>100 personnel).
• Strong communication skills with leadership and industry.
• Knowledge of IC, DoD, Air Force, Space Force, SSC processes.
• Familiarity with cloud solutions (AWS, Azure, etc.) and programming languages (Java, Python, C++, etc.).
• Proven expertise through publications, patents, or advanced degrees.
• U.S. citizenship required.

• Experience with SSC or space control/space situational awareness programs preferred.
