As a Software Architect within PNC's Data and Automation organization, you will be based in Cleveland-OH, Strongsville-OH, or Pittsburgh-PA.

An Machine Learning Ops Architect needs a combination of technical skills, including expertise in machine learning, software engineering, and data engineering, along with strong communication and leadership abilities. They are responsible for designing, implementing, and managing the end-to-end Machine Learning Ops pipeline, implementing features in the feature store, ensuring models are deployed efficiently, monitored effectively, and maintained throughout their lifecycle.

  • Machine Learning: Solid understanding of ML algorithms, model building, training, and evaluation.
  • Feature Store: Experience with offline and online feature store.
  • Software Engineering: Proficiency in programming (Python, Java, etc.), CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes, and other software development tools.
  • Data Engineering: Experience with data ingestion, storage, processing, and data pipelines.
  • Cloud Platforms: Experience with cloud services like AWS, Azure, or GCP. AWS Sagemaker preferred.
  • Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Proficiency with tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
  • Monitoring and Alerting: Ability to set up and interpret monitoring metrics for model performance and infrastructure health.

Job Description
  • Participates in defining functional designs and application systems architecture across all technologies and platforms.
  • Designs an application's technical infrastructure, such as specific databases, programming languages, utilities, and testing approaches.
  • Participates in the assessment of software defects discovered during the quality assurance process.
  • Participates in addressing enterprise-wide platform and technology requirements for applications.
  • Develops detailed programming instructions to solve business problems through automation support.
