RINA is currently recruiting for a Software Application Engineer to join its office in Genova within the Digital Technology and Cybersecurity Division.

RINA is hiring! We are looking for people interested in aerospace & defence software engineering activities who are able to work in an agile team and are seeking a stimulating and dynamic environment.

As a software engineer, your activities will include:

• Requirement analysis: analyzing high-level system requirements
• Software Requirement Definition: defining detailed requirements that regulate software behavior
• Software architecture definition: defining a software architecture to be developed
• Software Development: developing code to realize the bespoke software
• Troubleshooting and test support: troubleshooting software issues and supporting testing activities

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Information Systems

We require the following experience and skills:

• Excellent knowledge of the entire software life cycle
• Proficiency in Python, Java, and/or C++
• Good knowledge of MATLAB
• Excellent knowledge of GIT
• Aptitude for test-driven development, writing unit tests, and producing high-quality, performant code
• Strong understanding of design patterns and object-oriented programming principles
• Experience in aerospace development and familiarity with relevant standards
