Its mission is to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ and to meet human needs in His name without discrimination.QUALIFICATIONS:Must have a High School diploma or equivalentPrevious experience in the non-profit sector with an emphasis on social services is preferredMust have knowledge of computers and all Microsoft Office Suite software applications, as well as extensive knowledge and use of Lotus NotesMust have excellent interpersonal, telephone, and communication skills; both oral and writtenKnowledge of clerical and administrative procedures and systems such as typing letters and composing emailsAbility to follow directions without supervisionExcellent detail, organization and file management skillsKnowledge of operation of standard office equipmentAbility to work in a team setting with other professionalsMust be able to pass a criminal background checkRESPONSIBILITIES:Oversee the daily aspects of the Social Services OfficeInterview, evaluate, document and provide assistance where applicable for the following services: food, clothing, shelter, utilities, transportation, and other needs.Maintain and update client files in the TSA computer programWork with businesses, churches, and other community organizations to provide services and secure donationsAttend community networking meetings as assigned by the Corps OfficerPrepare and submit all monthly reports such as Three Square food bank, Advisory Board, etc.Maintain order and neatness of all common areas and office areaStock and maintain the food pantryRecruit, coordinate, train, and supervise volunteersSupervise, schedule, maintain records, and submit reports for community service workersAssist with the Christmas Angel program as neededAssist temporary seasonal staff as neededOther duties as assignedPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:Qualified individuals must be able to perform the essential duties of the position with or without accommodation.
