As a Social Media Supervisor at Fingerpaint, you will lead the strategic development and execution of social media initiatives for a diverse portfolio of pharmaceutical and health & wellness clients. You will be responsible for overseeing comprehensive social media strategies, ensuring alignment with broader brand goals, and driving measurable campaign outcomes. This role demands a strong analytical mindset, exceptional client management skills, and a proven ability to mentor and develop junior team members within a fast-paced agency environment.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Lead the development of clients' social media campaign objectives, ensuring they are rooted in larger strategic imperatives and brand goals, and the strategic approach and execution for paid and organic social media campaigns, social content strategy, and social media influencers with consideration for the overarching digital ecosystem.

Manage social listening initiatives and the development of insights and actionable takeaways to inform targeting, content, and social platform strategy.

Maintain a deep passion for data-driven marketing and the healthcare space, staying current on the latest trends and best practices across social channels and the pharmaceutical advertising industry. Vet and onboard new social media partners that align with client goals and strategies, staying ahead of emerging media trends.

Contribute to agency POVs and team thought leadership, proactively identifying and solving problems, improving processes, and creating efficiencies.

Oversee budget management and campaign performance. Proactively identify opportunities for optimization, expansion, and refinement, leading client recommendations and overseeing successful implementation.

Conduct comprehensive analysis of social media performance data to develop and present analytics reports that clearly articulate insights and strategic adjustments to maximize engagement and conversion opportunities.

Serve as the main point of contact for assigned client relationships, fostering strong partnerships and ensuring client satisfaction. Effectively communicate complex social media strategies and performance results to clients and internal stakeholders.

Collaborate extensively with media, digital/engagement strategy, medical strategy, creative, and account teams to evolve and enhance client campaigns, as well as Fingerpaint's social media capability offerings, strategies, and processes.

Train, manage, and mentor junior social media team members (Associates and Managers), fostering their professional growth and ensuring a strong understanding of social processes and best practices. Ensure the accurate and timely completion of client deliverables by direct reports.

Job Requirements:

5+ years of experience in managing paid and organic social media campaigns, preferably within a pharmaceutical or health & wellness agency.

Proven experience in a supervisory or team lead role, with demonstrated ability to mentor and develop junior staff.

Expert-level proficiency in Meta Ads Manager and strong working knowledge of other major social platform ad managers (e.g., TikTok Ads Manager, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, X Ads).

Strong working knowledge of MS Office, particularly Excel (for data analysis and budget management) and PowerPoint (for client presentations).

Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to assess and analyze complex performance data to guide the development of insights and actionable optimization recommendations.

Understanding of pharmaceutical industry compliance and regulations, including Medical Legal and Regulatory submissions and reviews

Meticulous attention to detail and a proven ability to thoroughly and effectively QA campaigns, budget workbooks, and other client deliverables.

In-depth knowledge of social media best practices and requirements for creative asset development

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate strategic concepts and performance results clearly and concisely to clients and internal teams.

Experience with social listening and audience research tools to identify patient and HCP perspectives, barriers, and consumption habits.
