Social Emotional Learning (SEL) Teacher - School District Of Ashland : Job Details

Hours: 8:00 AM - 3:00 PM FTE: 1.0 FTE, School Year Position The primary responsibility of the SEL Teacher is to support Social Emotional Learning for elementary students by teaching Tier 1 lessons in the classroom that focus on age appropriate social emotional skills and growth. Qualifications: A minimum of Bachelor's Degree in Education or related field; Educator licensure issued under Wis. Admin. Code Proficiency in oral and written communication skills. Ability to assume responsibility, display initiative, and exercise good judgment. Ability to perform the duties of a sensitive and confidential nature. Ability to forge positive relationships with students and their parents/guardians of students. Ability to work collegially with department staff, student services, administration, the faculty, maintenance staff, and community as needed. Ability to facilitate student/parent meetings as needed.
