SNC - Sr Systems Engineer with Security Clearance - Links Technology : Job Details

Links Technology is seeking a driven and skilled Sr Systems Engineer to join our client's team in Hagerstown, Maryland. Our client is a leading aerospace and defense firm, renowned for delivering customer-focused technology and best-of-breed integrations. This Contract role offers the opportunity to apply your expertise to design and create groundbreaking aerospace and defense technologies. The contract length is 6 months+, with potential for extension or conversion. Responsibilities of the Sr Systems Engineer:As a Systems Engineer, you will be using your skills and expertise to research, architect, model, simulate, test, certify and improve cutting edge products and services.You'll be developing complex system architectures within contextual modeling platforms, ushering them from operational concept through preliminary and detailed design, simulation, and test using progressive tools.As a cross-functional engineer, you are in charge of system-level ownership of new products and processes through the product lifecycle. Qualifications of the Sr Systems Engineer:Bachelor's of Science degree in System Engineering or related discipline and typically 10 or more years of relevant experienceExperience working in multi-disciplinary design and development teamsThorough understanding of requirements management, functional requirements parsing, derivation, and allocation; systems design, systems integration, technical risk identification and management strategies, and Verification and Validation (V&V) principlesAdvanced Experience with requirements management and system modelling tools, such as DOORS, Rhapsody, CAMEO Systems Modeler, MATLAB Knowledge of industry standard mechanical design principles, to include, but not limited to requirements management, Model Based System Engineering (MBSE)Experience or certification in INCOSE standardsBackground in the Aerospace and Defense IndustryExperience leading baseline definition and maturation in a complex development setting, including the use of high impact trade studies and other measuresThorough understanding of establishing and tracking key Technical Performance Measurements (TPM) Benefits of the Sr Systems Engineer:10 Days PTOHealth, Dental, and Vision InsuranceMatching 401kPaying up to $94/hrONSITE role in Hagerstown, Maryland6 month+ contract
