Smart Building Analyst - MacDonald-Miller Facility Solutions : Job Details

Smart Building Analyst at MacDonald-Miller Facility Solutions. This role manages and improves the performance of customer buildings by cultivating client relationships and delivering insight through building data analysis. It has a focus on helping customers navigate the WA state Clean Building Performance Standards (CBPS) via Certified Energy Benchmarks and Energy Star Portfolio Manager verification, with potential future support for Seattle Building Emissions Performance Standards. A basic understanding of mechanical, electrical, and building automation systems common to the commercial HVAC industry is required.

• Manage and improve building performance by analyzing data and delivering insights to customers.
• Support CBPS compliance, Certified Energy Benchmarks, and Energy Star Portfolio Manager verification; assist with Seattle building emissions support as needed.
• Be an integral member of MacDonald-Miller's Smart Building Services team and contribute to ongoing service contracts containing Building Analytics.
• Operate in a service environment, critically problem solve, and execute action plans with technical aptitude.
• Contribute to KPI measurement and evaluation for assigned customers.

• Strong track record with clients and delivering quality communications that lead to positive customer experiences.
• Mechanical field experience equivalent to a 4th year Union Apprentice or BS in Mechanical Engineering or related technical field.
• CEM/CMVP certification or BCxP: Building Commissioning certification (or equivalent).
• Two years of experience performing ASHRAE audits, energy analysis, and data gathering from relevant trends and drawings.
• Excellent communication, ownership, collaboration, and detail-oriented skills; experience with building automation systems; knowledge of Niagara or Siemens software is a plus.

Base pay range: $90,000.00/yr - $140,000.00/yr. For more experience levels, compensation varies: Smart Building Analyst (5 to 10 years): $95,000 to $124,000 annually; Smart Building Analyst (10+ years): $110,000 to $144,000 annually.
