Skilled Laborer - Maryland Staffing : Job Details

PeopleReady Skilled Trades is seeking skilled laborers to support residential pool construction projects. This is a great opportunity to get in with a solid crew on long-term work - with the potential to go permanent! Note: The hourly rate for this position is $24 - $26/hour. This range is a good-faith estimate based on factors such as relevant skills, experience, education, training, geographic location, and other considerations permitted by law. An employee's pay history will not be a contributing factor where prohibited by local law. Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis unless a deadline is otherwise stated.

Responsibilities:

• Assisting in layout and prep for residential pool installations
• Trenching and setting plumbing lines
• Operating hand and power tools
• Assisting equipment operators with material placement
• Backfilling, compacting, and site cleanup
• Mixing and pouring concrete as needed
• Ensuring a safe and clean work environment
• Supporting skilled tradespeople and following direction from supervisors

Qualifications:

• At least 6 months of general construction or outdoor labor experience
• Experience in equipment operation or plumbing is a big plus
• Able to lift 50+ lbs and work outdoors in various conditions
• Reliable transportation to and from the job site
• Willingness to learn and work as part of a team
• Must be dependable and safety-conscious
