Our sites are currently located in Ohio and Kentucky, with plans to expand to additional cities. We also have an online presence that serves thousands of people who aren't located near one of our physical sites.We believe the story of Jesus' redemption is the greatest story ever told, and that's why we embrace creativity, adventure, authenticity, and tenacity to share this story with the world.Our desire is to model our staff and church community after the church in Revelation, where people of all nations, tribes, and tongues are worshiping and working together. We're not there yet, but it's what we're working toward with every hire and every person who walks through our doors.Job SummaryThis is a full-time role on Crossroads staff working on the Experience Team. The Sites Technical Operations Director oversees the work of Video Directors, Stage and Lighting Directors, and Audio Engineers in the execution of weekend services and all other projects that require production support. Sites Technical Operations Director works closely with producers, technicians, and other ministry leads to assess needs and ensure that projects are appropriately supported with efficiency and excellence. This role manages Senior Audio Visual Technicians and reports directly to the Sites Experience Director.Job Specific Principal Duties & Responsibilities

  • Manage Senior Audio Visual Technicians
  • Work with the Creative Directors, Experience Producers and other ministry leads to deliver excellent and scalable experiences across all sites
  • Visit sites on weekends to help coach, equip and encourage teams in the midst of their run through and services
  • Provide clear and constructive feedback for those teams to help them improve and set goals to get better
  • Help own and oversee processes, systems and tools used centrally by all site teams, including but not limited to: Slack, Planning Center Online, Frame.io, various meetings, etc.
  • Help lead and facilitate meetings such as: Weekly Production meeting, Site Technician meetings, ET meetings, etc.
  • Coach and guide ET site teams in various other ways as needed
Job-specific QualificationsEducation Requirements: High School diploma and work experience in the field. BA or BS in a relevant field is a plus.Experience / Skill Requirements
  • Previous experience as a producer or technician in a fast-paced environment preferred
  • Working knowledge of Google Suite, Slack, Planning Center Online, or other software as needed
  • Management experience preferred
  • Client and Project Management experience preferred
  • Experience working in a creative environment - i.e. music or video production, stage/lighting, graphic design, theater
  • An interest in improving work processes and systems

Physical Requirements
  • Must be able to walk up to 5 miles. Additionally, standing, climbing, lifting, pulling, and/or pushing, carrying, reaching, and stooping is necessary as duties require
  • Must be able to lift 25+ lbs
Scheduling / Travel Requirements
  • Typical working week is Sunday-Thursday. Hours vary depending on project assignments. Travel is required for effective job execution.
