Site Survey Technician - MTM : Job Details

Position Summary: We're seeking a Site Survey Technician to conduct on-site assessments at customer properties before solar system installation. Your work will directly inform system design and ensure that each project moves forward smoothly and efficiently. Key Responsibilities:

• Visit residential and/or commercial sites to collect essential information for solar system design
• Measure roofs, attic spaces, and electrical panels using ladders, measuring tools, and digital equipment
• Take detailed photographs and notes of site conditions, shading, structural layout, and electrical infrastructure
• Input survey data into company software for use by engineering and design teams
• Communicate professionally with customers during site visits
• Follow all safety protocols and maintain accurate documentation

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent (Associate or technical degree preferred)
• 1+ year of experience in construction, roofing, solar, or related field
• Comfortable working at heights and using ladders and measurement tools
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Basic understanding of electrical systems is a plus
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
